Take the Bet – Official Game Rules

Effective Date: 1 April 2026

Take the Bet (TTB) is a social sports prediction game that uses virtual chips only. No real money wagering. No cash value. No withdrawals.

1) The Basics

What Take the Bet is:

Take the Bet is a social sports prediction game where you create wagers using virtual chips, accept wagers posted by other users, and compete for bragging rights and leaderboard position.

What it is not:

• Not a sportsbook
• Not real-money gambling
• No cash prizes or withdrawals
• Virtual chips have no monetary value

2) Accounts & Eligibility

• You must be 18+ (or the minimum age listed in the app stores / Terms).
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Duplicate or spam accounts may be restricted or removed.

3) Virtual Chips

Chips are virtual and used only within the app. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or withdrawn.

Chips are used to:

• Power wagers
• Track performance
• Reflect wins/losses on the leaderboard

4) Daily Chip Bonus

Eligible users may claim a Daily Chip Bonus once per day.

• Bonus may increase with consecutive-day streaks (if shown in-app).
• Missing a day may reset the streak.
• Bonus amounts and rules may change over time.
• Bonuses are virtual chips only and have no cash value.

5) Wagers (Picks)

• Available wager types may include:
• Moneyline (pick the winner)
• Spread (pick a team to cover a point spread)
• Total / Over-Under (combined score prediction)

6) Posting vs Accepting Wagers

• Posting a wager makes it available for others to accept.
• Accepting a wager takes the opposite side as displayed in the app.

7) Bet Locking

Wagers must be placed before the event start time or lock time shown in-app. Once a game begins, wagers should lock.

8) Grading & Results

Wagers are graded using official final results and marked as:

• Win
• Loss
• Push (when applicable)

Push examples:

• Spread equals final margin
• Total equals listed number

In a Push, chips are returned per app logic.

If official data is delayed or corrected, grading may update accordingly.

9) Payouts & Chip Math

Payouts follow betting-style math using virtual chips.

• Risk = chips wagered
• Win = profit
• Payout = risk + profit

Payouts may be rounded down to whole chips.

10) Leaderboards

Leaderboards reflect graded wagers and update as bets are finalized.

11) Integrity & Fair Play

Users may not:

• Exploit bugs
• Use bots or automation
• Harass other users
• Attempt unauthorized access

Accounts may be suspended for violations.

12) Support & Disputes

For grading disputes or issues, contact support@takethe.bet with:

• Username
• Game/event
• Wager type
• Screenshot (if available)

13) Rule Updates

Take the Bet may update these Game Rules as needed. Updates will be posted with a revised Effective Date.
